When I was a kid, like everybody else in the 70's, I loved big rigs. I remember in 4th grade the Kenworth vs Peterbuilt debate was serious business. KW usually won due to the fact that the Bj and the Bear truck was one. Truck owners really took pride in their rigs, and the custom work was bar none.
In 1955, before James Dean died, Life photographer Dennis Stock followed him around and took some pretty famous pictures. We like some of these not so famous ones better. These shots show Dean playing with his cousin Markie.
